Description : The Woolly-necked Stork is a tall black water bird with a white neck and large black bill (adult bird length approximately 105 cm, wing 47 cm, bill 15.6 cm, tarsus 16.5 cm, tail 23 cm). It has a mostly black upperparts glossed with greenish-blue, purple and copper. It has brown irises, a strong straight black bill with a variable amount of red and long red legs and feet. It feeds on crabs, molluscs, frogs and reptiles.
