Description : Wings upperside creamy white with black tip margin,two black spots on each forewing. Forewings's underside may be similar to the upperside, or may have a cream area instead of black. Hindwing mostly cream-coloued. The large white butterfly thrives in open spaces, farms, and gardens due to available food. They prefer walls, fences, tree trunks, and their food plants. Found in Eurasia, migration varies seasonally, with northern populations growing in summer. Large whites fly from early spring to autumn, with 2-3 flights per reproductive season. Their migrations occur with disturbances, flying randomly except north. Hibernation occurs in the south, not observed in northern broods. Males lack territorial behavior, leading to little sexual dimorphism.
