Description : The dark-bellied marsh snake is a slender snake with a glossy, blackish-brown or dark greyish-brown dorsal coloration. Its belly is typically black or dark grey. Adults can grow up to about 80 cm (31 inches) in length.
This species is primarily found in wetlands such as swamps, marshes, and flooded grasslands.
Dark-bellied marsh snakes primarily feed on frogs, tadpoles, and fish.
